Michelina fears the dark, she sees it everywhere. Fortunately, there is a magic crystal she can use to make it go away. Old fashion sketches together with 3D and hyperreal finishing gave the illustrations the exact feel I wanted for this personal project.

Vazumo.com is a search engine designed to help users find companies, products and services in a specific location. The brand strategy and development, revolving around the tagline ‘search and gather’, was galvanized by a zesty and welcoming testimonial.

YouTube channel 2011-12
YouTube and Lenovo launched a challenge for 14-18 year olds around the world to submit an experiment that could be carried out by NASA aboard the International Space Station. 10 million visitors in the first week and over 51 million video views so far for an idea, 250 miles above earth, for the world to see.

With over 90 million users a month the MailOnline is the Britain’s number one newspaper website and the globally second most visited. Now there’s also an iPad app to read it instantly, even when offline. The readers responded with over 20,000 downloads in the first week.

WE, L'AQUILA
Website 2011
Google offered its technologies to help saving the memory of L'Aquila, an artistic city in the heart of Italy, which was hit by a powerful earthquake in April 2009. A community response site allowed people to upload photos, videos and short stories to remember the past and inspire the future.

YouTube channel 2012
YouTube launched a global search for the world best storytellers. A competition open to everyone with 15 minutes to tell a story, millions of people to watch it and $500,000 to make a new one, produced by no less than Ridley Scott and Michael Fassbender.

Amnesty International celebrated its fifty years of supporting Free Speech with a huge comedy show on 4th March in Radio City Music Hall in New York. Website, FB app and YT channel were produced to promote online the event, all with great supporting illustrations by McBess.

Customised YouTube logos 2011-12
YouTube Doodles (or ‘Yoodles’) are customised versions of the YouTube online logo to promote upcoming events on the site. From the Royal Wedding to the re-opening of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the challenge was to produce a massive effect within a miniature size.

O2 employs around 13,000 people in the UK. This e-learning programme was meant to diffuse the company business principles amongst their employees. Information and visual aspects had of course to comply with the well-defined company tone-of-voice and brand values.

Saffron is a learning provider, working with big clients around the world. Its corporate identity needed a new twist in order to hit the market with a refreshed, recognisable and bold presence. The company’s distinctive human factor mixed with its digital peculiarity became the trademarks.

Classic FM’s event microsite 2010
123sing! was a three day festival of singing organized by Classic FM to celebrate singing, inspire people to start singing and raise funds for the charity Music Makers. The site needed to provide an online space for a continued engagement with the audience as well as to promote the event.

Elopak is the inventor of Pure-Pak, the world's first paperboard carton solution. In 2005, the company required a series of magazine ads, B2B communication and corporate videos to advertise the innovative aspect of the product.
